Included in this newsletter are the schedules for this Friday and Saturday, and the following two week’s contest schedules.

Tentative plans are to leave on Friday morning for San Angelo, perform at the football game and stay overnight in San Angelo; travel to Midland (2.5 hours) on Saturday morning, performing that morning at the contest and leave for home around 1:00, getting us back to Amarillo around 6 Saturday evening. Lunch on Saturday would be the only meal that you will need to pay for. Having this marching contest and an out of town San Angelo football game on the same weekend presented us with this unique opportunity to compete with other bands that we usually see in a “state year”.
